You can master your mania...well in a fashion.
From my experience:
One way is to tackle the depression, you won't obliterate it, it will always be there, but you can control it.
Another way is to try and swing your way back to euphoria, simply try to barrage yourself with good memories, preferably ones when you were in the happy end of mania. Aroma therapy works well also, especially when joined with the latter.
The last of my methods is medication, but I've never been a fan.
